These professionals possess the education, training, registrations, certifications, relevant experience, and longevity necessary to meet environmental needs.

Carolyn Green

President & Chief Executive Officer

Carolyn L. Green is President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Board of Professional Environmental Engineers, Inc. (PE). Ms. Green has over 30 years of environmental and energy experience, and prior to joining PE, she was the Vice President - Health, Environment and Safety for Sunoco, Inc., and has also served as Director of Government & Public Affairs for Ultramar Diamond Shamrock, Environmental Affairs Manager for Southern California Gas Company, Deputy Executive Officer for the South Coast Air Quality Management District and President of the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power Board of Commissioners. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Ms. Green also was a HUD Urban Studies Fellow in the Graduate Program in Urban & Regional Planning at Iowa.

Charles Gray

Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Charles Gray currently serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Professional Environmental Engineers (PE). Mr. Gray has over 17 years of experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing Operations and Mergers & Acquisitions both domestically and abroad. Prior to his position with PE, Mr. Gray experience has spanned several divisions of the General Electric Company, including their Healthcare, Rail and most recently their Energy/Infrastructure Division. His specific areas of interest include the development of lean, agile business processes that enhance customer and shareholder value, as well as the development and coaching of teams in the area of large-scale change. Mr. Gray holds a B.S. In Mechanical Engineering from Hampton/Old Dominion University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Ga. Institute of Technology

Filippe Cade, PE

Vice President / Director of Engineering & Design

Mr. Filippe Cade has a B.S. in Engineering and Public Policy (Environmental Engineering) and 18 years of experience in environmental engineering and consulting, with particular emphasis in the HTRW field. He specializes in program and project management with technical expertise in the execution of hazardous waste investigation and remediation projects, with particular emphasis on CERCLA, RCRA, FUSRAP, FUDS, and BRAC projects. He has extensive program and project management experience on large environmental contracts, including a a $10M ID/IQ HTRW Contract with the USACE-Louisville District. He is a professional engineer with registrations in Missouri and Nebraska.

Robert Louden, CHMM

Vice President/ Director of Assessments & UST Services

Mr. Louden has a B.S. in Earth Sciences, M.S. in Geology and over 24 years of experience in environmental consulting. His background includes groundwater/soil investigations and field studies, preparation of work plans, remedial designs, and remedial actions and removals and is experienced in geophysical surveying, groundwater modeling, wetland delineations, radon and PCB sampling, electromagnetic field (EMF) surveys, noise assessments, archeological surveys, geotechnical soil investigations, risk assessments, and household hazardous waste inventories. He has managed numerous large IDIQ projects/tasks and has extensive experience with CERCLA and RCRA activities, as well as other related programs (including FUSRAP, FUDS, IRP, MMRP, Brownfields, and UST).

William Pietroburgo, CHMM

Vice President/ Director of Regulated Substances & Emergency Response

Mr. Pietroburgo has a B.S in Electronic Technology, M.S. in Industrial Hygiene and over 22 years of experience in environmental consulting. He has extensive experience in managing and performing work at CERCLA sites (in both the Superfund Removal and Remedial Action Programs), at brownfield properties, and at facilities with industrial hygiene concerns. He has performed numerous CERCLA assessments, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (ESAs), indoor-air quality investigations, tank removals, soil and groundwater remediations, emergency response activities, health & safety planning and implementation, development of work practice controls, waste profiling/manifesting/disposal activities, and regulatory compliance. He frequently prepares budgets, schedules, work plans, and reports. He oversees and trains staff, interacts with clients and regulators, and manages all financial aspects of projects.
